Tove Maren, writer of Mama in the Now, is donating part of the proceeds of her Taking Life One Nap at a Time tees to our Jack & Julie Narcolepsy Scholarship! It’s available in several colors and as a premium tee (men’s or women’s), a flowy long-sleeve tee, or a fitted tank.
Tove was diagnosed with narcolepsy in 2004 after her sleepiness had begun to affect her at work (her employer assumed she was hungover). You can read her diagnosis story here. She is also the mother of four boys, so “taking life one nap at a time” is her personal mantra.
She has designed these tees with tired parents in mind and to recognize the people affected by narcolepsy and other sleep disorders. “Some days, whether it is as a parent or as a person with narcolepsy, ‘taking life one nap at a time’ is all we can do – and that is OK!” she explains. We couldn’t agree more.
