Announcing the New NARCOLEPSY: NOT ALONE Website
Project Sleep is thrilled to unveil the new NARCOLEPSY: NOT ALONE™ campaign website at: www.narcolepsynotalone.com
As the world’s largest narcolepsy social media awareness campaign, NARCOLEPSY: NOT ALONE sets a bold new precedent that narcolepsy is not a joke, but a real disorder affecting many children and adults around the world.
Project Sleep founder, Julie Flygare, first launched the campaign a year ago, inviting people living with narcolepsy and their supporters to submit photos. The idea was to grow a photo community that provides comfort to those living with the disorder (who often feel alone) while showing the world the real faces of narcolepsy (instead of media stereotypes). The response has been resounding and the campaign continues to grow with over 1,100 photos submitted from all 50 US States and 42 countries.
In addition to the growing photo gallery, the website aims to empower patients and supporters with e-cards, fact sheets, resources, gear, and tools to connect to others living with narcolepsy.
Please share the new website and help us show the 3 million people living with narcolepsy that they are not alone— they are part of an international community of people standing tall and proud to build a brighter future for narcolepsy.
