In January 2024, Stephanie Manuli joined the Board of Directors of Project Sleep, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of sleep health, sleep equity, and sleep disorders.
Stephanie is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. In 2023, She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from NC State University.
At the age of 14, Stephanie was diagnosed with type 2 narcolepsy without cataplexy. She has since become passionate about raising awareness and helping others living with narcolepsy. In 2019, she was trained in Project Sleep’s Rising Voices program. As a Rising Voices speaker, Stephanie shares her story of this misunderstood condition with the goal of raising awareness. Recently, Stephanie also represented Project Sleep in their advocacy efforts in Washington, D.C. In 2023, she attended both the Sleep Advocacy Forum and the White House Sleep Equity Convening.
In her free time, Stephanie enjoys listening to audiobooks and podcasts, playing with her wild kitten Dexter, visiting D.C.’s many museums and monuments, and traveling. While serving on Project Sleep’s Board of Directors, Stephanie is excited to apply her advocacy experience and public health knowledge to further Project Sleep’s mission.
