10 Years of Dreaming BIG with Project Sleep!

We’ve reached a monumental milestone: a whole decade of sleep advocacy! We’re thrilled to take a moment to reflect on the amazing journey we’ve had, all thanks to your incredible support. Celebrate 10 years of Project Sleep with us today by making a ten-year anniversary gift.

Since August of 2013, our mission has been to bridge the gaps between sleep health, sleep equity, and sleep disorders. We’ve laughed, cried, learned, and connected with all of you as we championed improving public health via sleep. While it’s IMPOSSIBLE to capture all we’ve accomplished together, here’s a glimpse into some pivotal moments that shaped the first 10 years of Project Sleep.

Years 1-3: Building a Dream

We started small, but with big dreams! From our first awareness campaigns to our early partnerships, we laid the groundwork for something truly special.

May 2014
Project Sleep partnered with Jack and the Graham family to award the first two Jack & Julie Narcolepsy Scholarships to two college-bound students living with narcolepsy.

March 2015
Sleep advocates joined together for the first annual Sleep In weekend, celebrating rest and recovery and saying “no” to plans that require expending precious energy.

Years 4-6: Sleep Advocates Unite!

With each year, our community grew stronger. We took sleep awareness and advocacy head-on, breaking barriers, reducing stigma, and shining a light on the challenges so many face. Together, we created a safe space to talk, to learn, and to grow.

Years 7-9: Empowering Advocacy

Raising our voices is powerful! New initiatives including the Sleep Equity Initiative, Sleep Advocacy Forum, Narcolepsy Nerd Alert, and Project Sleep Podcast are helping us take strides toward a stronger and more equitable sleep landscape.
