About Mindi:

Dr. Mindi McKenna is a recently retired grandmother of five, with a third-degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, living in Kansas City. She has been living with narcolepsy for over 25 years and is sharing her story because she hopes to help accelerate diagnosis and improve treatment for this often misunderstood condition. As a speaker with Project Sleep’s Rising Voices of Narcolepsy program, she will help us all understand what it can be like to be diagnosed with and live with this serious sleep disorder.
