Our Rising Voices of Narcolepsy Story Sharing live series continued on Sunday, April 12, 2020 with a brand-new speaker: Brittany Matthews! Brittany, who has presented her story for college students across the country, shared her presentation and answered questions from live viewers.

The Rising Voices of Narcolepsy Story Sharing Series invites viewers to gather online to watch a Rising Voices of Narcolepsy trained speaker or writer present their story live via Project Sleep’s Facebook page.

About Brittany:

Brittany Matthews is a Texas girl living in a Chicago world with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Houston. She learned she had type 1 narcolepsy with cataplexy at the age of 19 after more than 12 years of struggling with mysterious symptoms. As a trained speaker with Project Sleep’s Rising Voices of Narcolepsy program, Brittany shares her story to health care professionals and the general public to shed light on the reality of living with this challenging and misunderstood condition.
