From enduring embarrassment and misunderstandings as a teenager to finding out he had narcolepsy 20 years later, Glenn shines a light on the importance of recognizing symptoms and reducing delays to diagnosis.

About Glenn:

Glenn Schryver is a nerd and music fanatic from Sydney, Australia. He first displayed symptoms of narcolepsy in high school and was formally diagnosed 20 years later. As a speaker with Project Sleep’s Rising Voices program, Glenn raises awareness of the condition and helps fellow people with narcolepsy on their journey.

What is the Story Sharing Series?

Project Sleep’s Rising Voices program serves the dual purpose of fostering a new generation of patient-advocates spreading awareness of sleep disorders while empowering participants. The Rising Voices Story Sharing Series invites viewers to gather online to hear a Rising Voices trained speaker share their story live via Project Sleep’s YouTube channel.
