Our Rising Voices of Narcolepsy Story Sharing live broadcast series continued on March 21, 2021 with trained speaker Leah Boyle! Leah shared her experience of growing up with a narcolepsy diagnosis and the challenges, support, and adventures she found along the way.

About Leah:

Leah Boyle works in social media and has worked in a variety of industries from television to health. She lives in London and enjoys travelling and hiking among other activities. She has lived with narcolepsy since she was 7 years old. She was diagnosed at 11 and is now a trained speaker for Project Sleep’s Rising Voices of Narcolepsy. Neurological conditions are often invisible or misunderstood, so Leah aims to raise awareness of this condition by sharing her story.

Project Sleep is proud to offer this series every other week. At a time in which many people need connection more than ever, this will increase opportunities for people around the world to engage with and support one another.

To improve public understanding of narcolepsy, Project Sleep’s Rising Voices of Narcolepsy program trains people with narcolepsy to share their stories through public speaking and writing with local communities, healthcare providers, news outlets, blogs and beyond.
